For Children’s Health and Education

AGA understands that the word “group” in “group benefits” extends to the entire community. That’s why we actively contribute to its well-being by donating over 5% of our annual profits to causes that are close to our hearts.

Because healthy lifestyles and the health of young people are core values for us, AGA is an official partner of the Fondation sablon for its Mardi je donne (Tuesday giving) campaign. The Fondation sablon provides sports and outdoor activities to children from underprivileged backgrounds so they can develop and thrive, thereby helping them achieve their full potential!

In keeping with its compassionate values, AGA has become a partner of the Leucan Experience, a fundraising event held by the organization of the same name. Leucan has been committed to supporting children with cancer and their families for over 40 years. In addition to investing in clinical research, the organization offers personal assistance, emotional support, financial aid, activities in hospitals, awareness activities in schools and much more to alleviate the suffering experienced by children with cancer.

AGA Benefit Solutions contributes to the development and excellence of Conestoga College students by awarding an annual scholarship that recognizes academic achievement and social and community involvement.

As a donor, AGA grants a yearly scholarship to an outstanding student through the HEC Montréal Foundation. The scholarship is intended to provide tangible support to the up-and-coming generation and encourage excellence through a sustainable investment.

AGA grants an annual scholarship to a student of the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics who stands out through their academic achievement, their involvement on campus and in the community, and their positive contribution to the mental health of their fellow students, in particular.

Martin Papillon, President and Chief Executive Officer of AGA, is a governor of the Université Laval Foundation. In addition, AGA grants a scholarship every year to an outstanding student. The Foundation, in partnership with the alumni association, works to support the future development of Université Laval.

For the last several years, AGA has supported Forces Avenir, which recognizes, honours and promotes students’ involvement in projects that contribute to the development of conscious, responsible, active and persevering citizens who are both rooted in their community and open to the world. We are also proud to be a supporting partner of the Coup de cœur category for the Montreal, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Laval and Montérégie region since 2018.
