Your mandate will consist in...
Your mandate will involve advising a portfolio of group retirement clients. This includes presenting governance and investment reports, leading employee sessions, and providing ongoing customer service (such as handling questions, meetings, and committee work). You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with business partners and contributing to the development of new group retirement business opportunities. Your main tasks will include:
- Make courtesy calls and visit clients under your responsibility to maintain a strong relationship and support them in the administration, governance, and evolution of their group retirement programs;
- Collaborate with external brokers to build and sustain lasting relationships, assisting them with problem-solving and new business development;
- Coordinate the production of governance and investment reports, ensuring they meet deadlines, analyzing and validating the information, and presenting the reports to clients and pension committees;
- Provide clear explanations and advice on the various group retirement plans available to clients and external advisors;
- Actively contribute to the development of new group retirement business opportunities;
- Assist other consultants with business development, as well as with administrative and technical support;
- Oversee the implementation and enrollment of new groups, manage the transfer of existing groups, and follow up on information requests;
- Collect all necessary information and forms for the sale and setup of a new group or for group transfers;
- Represent AGA Benefit Solutions at conferences and seminars, participate as a facilitator or resource person in training sessions, and report on these events to the team;
- Gather market information on methods, products, procedures, and other relevant data to help AGA Benefit Solutions enhance the quality of its services and provide effective solutions;
- Actively participate in sales and SWAT meetings;
- Perform any other duties related to the position or as delegated by your superior.
Required Qualifications:
- University level (bachelor’s degree) or equivalent;
- Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in pension plans;
- Must hold a Group Annuity Licence (Quebec);
- Strong knowledge of related legislation;
- Good command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word;
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, and French, an asset;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail and thoroughness;
- Ability to demonstrate judgment, integrity and honesty;
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work.
- Must travel frequently, a car with a valid driver’s license is essential;
