Your mandate will consist in:

Your mandate will involve supervising the assistant controller and accounting analysts. You will be responsible for preparing the consolidated financial statements and ensuring their accuracy, including the consolidation of variance analyses. Additionally, you will assist the Vice President, Finance in preparing investor reports. Below, you'll find the skills and qualifications needed to excel and thrive within the AGA team!

Your main tasks will include:

• Help integrate the accounting systems and resources of acquired companies;
• Contribute to the development of accounting information systems;
• Contribute to the standardization and documentation of accounting procedures;
• Participate in the budgeting process;
• Oversee the year-end audit file;
• Occasionally review payroll;
• Validate monthly tax reports for various provinces (insurance, GST/QST, etc.);
• In collaboration with the Financial Analyst, prepare, analyze and design reports on operational and financial measures (specific analyses);
• Perform any other related tasks requested by the superior. 

Qualifications required:

• CPA designation ;  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the industry or at an accounting firm;
• Good command of the Microsoft Office suite;  
• Fluent in both English and French;
• Experience in team management;
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to tasks;
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, integrity, and honesty;
• Versatility, proactivity, resourcefulness, autonomy;  
• Ability to meet deadlines, follow up closely and manage work priorities.
